Essentials of Kayak Touring

Service Description

This skills course is designed for people to learn the necessary skills for touring waterways. Along with learning about boat design, environmental safety, equipment, proper paddling strokes and maneuvers, you will also learn how to self-rescue, perform assisted rescues, towing, use of VHF radio, and buoys system. This course will help prepare you for emergency situations you might encounter while touring.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is required 3 days prior to class for full refund. Due to limited class size, we need to have time to rebook your cancellation. We do not give refunds for less than 3 days notice, but will make every attempt to reschedule an alternative class/tour for you. No-show/no-call will be unable to book a future class/tour without full payment upon booking.
